This post is entrusted to Çelo Hoxha, who replaces Agron Tufa. The latter sought asylum in Switzerland after numerous life threats were addressed because of his duty.
Former executive director of the Institute for the Study of Crimes and Consequences of Communism in Albania, Agron Tufa has sought political asylum in Switzerland because he and his family feel threatened.
Tufa said the threats were not taken into account by Albanian institutions. He stresses that under these conditions, when the heirs of former Communists are power in Albania and his family is under threat, he could not continue to love more in Albania.
