Branches of Albania have been gathered in Vlora, while Kosovo's branches, as well as representatives from Montenegro, Macedonia and the Presevo Valley, have gathered in the village of Komoran in Drenas. While in the Netherlands has been announced the decision of independent Chameria, as well as the creation of a government in exile, branches of the association in Albania and Kosovo have backed the decision.
Secretary Mustaf Haziri, however, said the issue of Chameria had been a serious wound for Albanians for more than a century. He said that the genocide committed by the Greek state against the Cham population should be followed by the Albanian state as well.

“We have come together today on a very important issue that has been a serious wound to the history of the Albanian people for more than a century. Albanians are embarking on a new phenomenon in the Balkans ... The Cham issue is a nationwide Albanian issue, so the genocide that the Greek state has committed against the Cham civilian population must also be followed by the Albanian state playing the role of initiator and advocate in The Hague, Brussels, in the European Union, in .. Germany, and in the US department,” said Haziri.
Whereas, the head of the branch of the association "Chameria" in Kosovo, Nexhmi Muciqi, said that most Albanians do not covet in tenders and chairs, as their main goal is to unite all Albanian lands.
He urged the United States of America and the European Union to support them on the path to national unity.
Mucic: This announcement made in the Netherlands is historic.
“We as a Chameria association in Kosovo and all of you representatives have come together to support this initiative and I am convinced that this initiative and this announcement being made in the Netherlands is historic. So, without wasting your time, I beg you and invite you to declare by acclamation whether we are for or against. Congratulations, let's enjoy it," Mucic said.
While according to the president of the "Chameria" Association, Festim Lato, the Cham State Defense Force will also be formed.
“In The Hague, all Albanians, the inclusive Assembly, will form the Government of Chameria. This Government will represent the Cham people for the rights at international conventions as well. Chameria will soon have its own state, its own institutions, all international organizations belonging to one state. It is inevitable, it is inevitable. It is a determined thing,” he said.
