Edita Tahiri attacked the Albanian Prime Edi Rama through a post on, as the next host of this regional initiative, saying that this initiative creates the economic nucleus for Greater Serbia.
"That the idea of 'Mini-Schengen' creates the economic nucleus for Greater Serbia is what all Albanians are seeing, except Edi Rama. Happy with the clever and strategic reactions of Albanians to defend national interests and prevent the Serbian neo-hegemony in the Balkans,” writes Tahiri.
The idea of a mini-Schengen has brought clashes between the official Tirana and Pristina since its launch. Prime Minister Edi Rama has called for the presence of all countries in the region in the initiative but has faced opposition from some countries, including Kosovo.
