Kosovo boycotts Nobel Prize ceremony, Pacolli: We expect boycott and Albania

 

 Foreign Minister of Kosovo Behgjet Pacolli has announced that Kosovo will not attend the Nobel ceremony in Stockholm this year. He expects Albania to act the same.

In a Facebook post, Pacolli has confirmed that Ambassador Shkëndije Geci-Sherifi will boycott the event, because of Peter Handke win of the Nobel price, who has been a friend and supporter of Milosevic's policy.

“Kosovo will not attend the Nobel ceremony in Stockholm this year. I confirm that our Ambassador Mrs. Shkendije-Geci-Sheriff will boycott the event, due to controversial Nobel Prize winner Peter Handke, a friend and supporter of Milosevic's policy. I also expect the Ambassador of Albania to act in a similar way”, Pacolli wrote.
