In cooperation with the Tennis Association of Tirana and the Municipality of Tirana, the project is being implemented in 3 schools in the capital. In this context, at the premises of the "Dora d'Istria" school, the Embassy of Switzerland, the Municipality of Tirana and the Association Tennis Tirana organized the activity "Healthy Children through Sport" with the participation of the Ambassador of Switzerland, Mr. Adrian Maître and the Mayor Erion Veliaj.
An important part of the event was a surprise video message from world tennis champion Roger Federer, sent specifically to tennis enthusiasts and Albanian children.
It was Ambassador Maître himself who announced the surprise message of Federer, who with his extraordinary play dominated the sport of tennis in the 21st century.
With 20 Grand Slam wins, Roger Federer holds the record for the most wins in tennis history.
At the end of the event in the capital, Ambassador Maître and Mayor Veliaj distributed certificates to the children participating in the program.
