Serbia rejects US proposal on Kosovo, calling Trump hypocritical

 The Media in Belgrade writes that Serbia does not accept the manner of agreement with Kosovo, requested to them through a letter sent to Serbian President Aleksander Vucic. According to them, the US is trapping Serbia to recognize Kosovo.

"Belgrade will not accept the US president's perfidious bid to recognize Kosovo, which he has hypocritically made to President Aleksandar Vucic", writes Novosti.

According to the Novosti, this call on the eve of the anniversary of Kosovo's Independence is outrageous, and the Serbian side views it as a 'synchronized action' to trap Serbia into accepting Kosovo's independence.

Otherwise, President Trump wrote a letter to the Serbian president on the day he wrote to Hashim Thaci to congratulate him on the 11th anniversary of Kosovo's independence.

He has once again urged Kosovo and Serbia to reach an agreement within this year.
