Solar panels in Albanian public buildings?

 

 In the context of promoting renewable energies and reducing energy consumption, Oculus News proposes that all public entities of Albania should be involved in a separate state-owned project for the installation of solar panels in the buildings of these entities (at least in the areas with sufficient-high radiation).

There are some entities that have planned the deployment of these panels but not in an organized way. Creating a separate project would allow for the coordination of procurement procedures and the benefit of uniform panels for all buildings. Specifically, the Central Procurement Directorate could gather the requirements of each public entity and organize a single procedure with the relevant lots.

We emphasize that Albania is among the countries with the highest solar radiation per year, and the installation of solar panels in public institutions would be beneficial for the country's economy.
