Algerian passport |
Turkey issued a presidential decree Friday that excludes Algerian citizens under the age of 15 and those over 65 from the need to obtain travel visas.
The decision, which was published in the Official Gazette by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's signature, guarantees permission for Algerian nationals to enter Turkey in these age groups with normal passports.
They will be able to enter Turkey without a prior visa and stay for tourist purposes for up to 90 days within a six-month period, according to the decree in question.
The decision was based on Article 18 of the Turkish Law No. 6458 “On Foreigners and International Protection”.
