Two children from Kosovo drown in a river in France - their mother could do nothing

 

 Two young children were found dead Tuesday after falling into a river; they had been playing in the presence of their mother.

According to foreign media reports, the two victims, brother and sister, were respectively born in 2014 and 2017.

The tragedy has taken place in Le Moingt, its waters have recently been swollen by heavy rainfall.

Such a tragedy is said to have taken place after a 35-year-old Kosovo mother had eaten with her children at a fast-food restaurant before taking her afternoon to play by the river near the Montbrison shopping area. .

According to her statements, initially, the youngest of the children fell into the water. After that, his sister tried to catch him before she too was snatched from the water stream.

The mother managed to join them but couldn't manage to save them. She then asked for help to emergency services. But when the emergency services got there, they could do nothing.

The mother, in shock, was hospitalized while the Saint-Etienne Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation and ordered the autopsy of both bodies.
