UEFA condemns Czech Republic for insulting and throwing items at the match against Kosovo

The biggest European football house, UEFA has fined the Czech Republic 17,750 euros for insulting and throwing things at the match against Kosovo.

Europe's biggest football home, UEFA, has taken action against the Czech Republic.

The national team of the Czech Republic hosted Kosovo on 14 November in Plzen.

At that match, there were insults against Kosovars and the Serbian flags were unfurled in order to provoke the football players and fans.

In some cases, there were also items thrown on the pitch and this was the reason that UEFA condemned the Czech football federation.

"The CEDB has decided to punish the Czech Football Federation with 17,750 euros for politically provocative messages and for throwing items on the pitch," the UEFA statement said.

Even Kosovo footballers have complained to the referee during the match for the political appeal of local fans.

The match has been won by the Czech Republic - 2: 1.
