Italian media reports that a young Albanian from Kosovo was found with no signs of life, who has been killed and then thrown into a canal.
Police suspect the young man's murder may have come after a scuffle. Italian police forces are continuing investigations to uncover the incident.
Italian media have also revealed the identity of the young man. He is Erion Morina from Malisheva. The Carabinieri have also arrested an Albanian man from Kosovo who was allegedly in conflict with Morina and suspected of murder. The arrestee will be questioned in relation to the murder.
Italian police have discovered that both the aggressor and the victim had a physical clash between them before the 20-year-old was probably hit with a bottle or screwdriver in the back or head. The 20-year-old was dragged 50 meters into the street and it is unclear whether he was alive or dead during this time.
Blood traces have been found at the scene, which may help Carabinieri find the perpetrator. The boy's body from Kosovo has been taken to a mortuary to undergo an autopsy and determine the cause of death.
