The deceased was waiting for the final days to bring the baby to life, but the situation was complicated in the early hours of yesterday afternoon. It is learned that the 27-year-old had dizziness and with such symptoms were sent by family members to the hospital in Gjilan.
On the way to the hospital, her health deteriorated. The director of the Gjilan Regional Hospital, Nysret Hajrullahu said that unfortunately, the mother died, but doctors managed to bring the baby out of the mother's womb alive.
The doctor said:
“The baby was pulled alive from the mother's womb. She came to us with no vital parameters. The baby was still swinging, doctors immediately resuscitated and managed to keep the male baby alive. The pregnant woman came to the hospital with no vital parameters, no signs of life. The surgeons at the Emergency Clinic intervened immediately, but unfortunately, she couldn't survive."
The hospital director said the cause of the 27-year-old's death is unknown. The family of the deceased refused to undergo an autopsy, and the factors leading to her death could not be determined.
