About 60% of Albanians dislike their actual job, the survey concludes

According to a survey held by the consulting organization EP and Partners, more than half of Albanians in Albania and Kosovo are dissatisfied with their work.

However, this figure is down from the poll of two years ago where the dissatisfaction was at 64% in both countries.

The study highlights the fact that 57 percent of respondents in many cities of Albania and in Kosovo, intend to switch jobs next year.

The reasons were for higher pay, career opportunities, appreciation, and a job with better conditions and less stress.

The highest dissatisfaction was among low-wage workers, part-time employees, and mainly in the age group of 30-39.

The last three factors are citizens' rights to work. Although the legislation on these rights is complete, are regularly violated in both the public and private sectors.

The biggest complaints come mainly from the private sector, especially the FASON industry. The structures that should protect us from violating our rights at work, such as trade unions, are poorly known and do not enjoy the trust of employees.
