Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted after the 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck Turkey and through a message on Twitter, he expresses his support for the Turkish people in these difficult moments, describing the earthquake as a sad disaster where casualties have been recorded.
“Very sad the disaster that fell on friendly Turkey from a severe earthquake, where lives have been lost! We are close to the Turkish people and pray that God will give the authorities of the country and President Erdogan all the strength to face this tragedy," Rama said in his message.
On the other hand, also the opposition leader, Lulzim Basha, expressed his deepest condolences to the victims of the earthquake in Turkey, which has so far caused over 20 casualties and destroyed many homes.

In a Twitter post, the leader of the Democratic party said: "My deepest condolences to the Turkish people and President Erdogan for the earthquake victims. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims. We wish a speedy recovery to the wounded and express solidarity with the people of Turkey," Basha writes.
