Albania, the "land of eagles" is its name, the last European country to open to the Western world, after decades of complete isolation. The country in the Balkans has a Muslim majority, spectacular views, a long history and an organized tour of it and neighboring Macedonia providing unforgettable experiences and views.
“Albania is a fascinating country in terms of its historical history and many invaders have conquered it. A place that was closed to the world and traveled there as an early experience,” says Ilan Talmon, a guide from Pegasus - Organized Tours.
Albania has a combination of mountain landscapes, beaches, lakes as well as historical and architectural sites that are the result of a combination of culture. It is cheap, approachable and beautiful, and you need nothing more to enjoy it. "Nature, water, forests," says Ami Lichtenberg, who takes part in an organized trip. "We went on a castle called Lorafi, from which you can admire a wonderful view," adds tourist Gadi Penn.
Albania boasts by many picturesque towns, has 365 different monasteries around the beautiful Lake Ohrid, the historic city of Berat, known as the "City of One Thousand Windows" and the capital Tirana is vibrant and full of life. "The views are wonderful, just magical," says Tzipi Grinot, a tour participant. “These long-distance trips are really preferable to an organized trip. Gudia was great. I enjoyed every moment, both the band and the instructor."
