KUCC sources suggest that the victim is a 50-year-old woman from the Pejë / Pejës region who has been affected by the “A” virus, whose cases have increased significantly in Kosovo in the last month.
“Currently, the clinic is treating 3 confirmed patients with the flu, two in serious condition are intubated or connected to respiratory tracts and are under medical supervision. At the Infectious Disease Clinic at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo, since December 2019, at least 16 patients have been treated for seasonal influenza,” said doctor Valbon Krasniqi.
