The airports of Bergamo, Bologna, Verona, Treviso, and Pisa will benefit from frequent connections with the Albanian capital, as confirmed by the Hungarian company itself on its social profiles:
“Dear Italian and Albanian travelers: we have great news for you! We are launching five new routes between Albania and Italy. Fly from Tirana to Milan, Bergamo, Bologna, Verona, Venice Treviso or Pisa. Book your holiday today on wizzair.com "- says the Wizz Air social post.
The new routes
Tickets can be purchased on the airline's website from today starting from a minimum of 29.99 euros each direction. The first tickets available are those to Milan Bergamo (from 29 March) and Pisa (31 March), while in the following months Bologna and Verona (from 1 May) and Venice Treviso (from 1 August). For the latter destination, as well as for Pisa, there are three weekly flights (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday); four weekly flights scheduled, however, for Verona and Bologna (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday) while for Milan Bergamo there will be daily flights.
"Wizz Air is strongly committed to creating new opportunities for its Albanian passengers and today we are excited to be able to double the number of routes that we operate in Tirana and announce five new routes from the capital of Albania to Italy.
We believe that these routes represent another important step forward in the expansion of our network, just as an increasing number of travelers will be able to take advantage of the lower Wizz Air fares combined with excellent service on board. We welcome all travelers who want to board one of Europe's youngest and most reliable fleets." - said George Michalopoulos, Chief Commercial Officer of Wizz Air.
The new Wizz Air routes will partially cover the vacant space left by Ernest Airlines, to which the air transport license has been suspended since 13 January at the disposal of ENAC.
