After the killing of the Iranian general she wrote on social media that: “People like you do not die, but the dead who walk the earth and carry the blood of the criminal, they are dead but only breathe to shame themselves and their criminal nation. Criminals wanted death which is not death but the most beautiful witness that anyone in the 21st century can have," she wrote on facebook.
She had subsequently deleted her post and had filed a lawsuit against the media citing her.
The US operation to assassinate the Iranian general has been backed by authorities in Kosovo and Albania.
President Hashim Thaci expressed support for "US actions on Iran's activities in the Middle East that have caused terror, instability and global unrest. "We stand together in defending our values and our way of life in pursuit of peace and security," he wrote.
Outgoing Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said that "Kosovo stands firm in support of the United States in the right to self-defense. Recent self-defense actions against General Soleiman are defenses, not just for the US but for freedom and democracy all over the world. We strongly condemn the attacks of Iran and any state seeking to destroy peace in Iraq and elsewhere. In these tensions, Iran and its supporters must take the necessary steps to not escalate further the situation. Kosovo stands by America and will increase support for the US-led Global Coalition," he wrote on social media.
Iran's Quds Force leader Qasem Soleimani has been killed in a US drone strike. The United States blamed him for killing US troops in Iraq and planning new attacks.
His assassination sparked protests and backlash in Iran and Iraq as Iranian leaders and their supporters have called for revenge.
