“For us that opportunity is open, we have opportunities with everyone, initially with the traditional partner in the Government we have talks, we have talks with the opposition parties. When I talk about the DUI, I also talk about the Alternative and the DPA that are part of the Government in our coalition, but we also have open communications with the Besa and the Alliance because we voted for the constitutional changes together, we voted for the use of languages, together we voted for some of the reforms, for the benefit of the state. As a multiethnic party we are very openly positioned, have excellent cooperation and this gives us the advantage over our opponent to freely calculate to make decisions and do our best for the state and for better positioning of political parties. SDSM is also positive for pre-election coalition with Albanian political parties because we have no prejudices, for us the citizens are citizens, we do not divide them on ethnic basis, we believe in a society for all, I think we should take one step further to develop the concept of a society for all where at the end of the day we are all just citizens, we may have different religious, ethnic, cultural, social and political affiliations, but in the end we are citizens who are the same, so it is possible that at the end of February or early March when the decision on early parliamentary elections is made you will have coalitions from multiethnic parties such as us, but also Albanian, Turkish, Roma and other political parties” said Zoran Zaev, SDSM leader.
