An Albanian police officer was arrested in Milan today after a routine check the Italian police found that she hid a quantity of cocaine inside the car she was traveling.
According to the Italian media Sky tg24, the 29-year-old arrested woman was an Albanian police officer.
But State Police reacted immediately to this news.
In a press release, the State Police announced that the 29-year-old arrested for drug trafficking in Italy is no longer part of the state police since 2017 after she was denied access to certificate security.
Further, State Police say the 29-year-old former state police officer was effective at the Vlora Police Directorate.

The arrested citizen F. Z., 29, is no longer part of the State Police since 2017.
She has been effective at the Vlora Local Police Directorate and in 2017 left the State Police after she was no longer eligible to receive a Security Certificate.
The State Police exchanged real-time information with their Carabinieri counterparts in Milan, through the Bari Liaison Officer as relating to thi case."
The State Police is determined to cooperate closely with its partners in order to identify and crack down on criminal elements that carry out criminal activity,” the police response reads.
