Albin Kurti visiting Tirana as Kosovo's prime minister, meeting with political leaders

 Albin Kurti is expected to make his first visit as Kosovo's prime minister tomorrow in Tirana.

Kurti is expected to meet with his Albanian counterpart, Edi Rama, President Ilir Meta, Parliament Speaker Gramoz Ruci, Opposition Chief Lulzim Basha, Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj.

Kurti had earlier said in an interview with Voice of America that his first official visit would be to Albania.

"I intend to visit Tirana next week and hold meetings with the institutional leaders there, with Prime Minister Rama, with President Meta, with President Ruci, with the opposition leader Basha and so discuss these issues together. I am not against initiatives. regional cooperation, but the principle of reciprocity must exist, and while the Republic of Albania knows our southern and western neighbors better, it is the Republic of Kosovo that knows our eastern and northern neighbors better and in this respect we can be complementary, "Kurti said in an interview with Voice of America.
