Angela Merkel invites Kosovo Prime Albin Kurti in Berlin

 German Ambassador to Kosovo Christian Heldt has delivered personally today to Prime Minister Albin Kurti the congratulations of German Chancellor Angela Merkel on accepting Kurti's post as head of the Government of Kosovo.

Merkel, in addition to congratulating him, said she would be happy to meet Kurti soon in Berlin.

Meanwhile, after the press release issued by the German Government, Ambassador Heldt has personally submitted the invitation to Prime Minister Kurti, which he has announced through a Twitter post.

Heldt has not provided any details about the possible date of the meeting, but in his posting says that he is happy to hand over the invitation of Merkel.

Among other things, Heldt said that Kosovo's citizens deserve good governance, citing the fight against corruption and even the conclusion of the dialogue.
