MPs Artan Abrashi of the Self-Determination Movement and Arben Gashi of the Democratic League said this in a discussion with the civil society.
However, the two ruling coalition MPs differed on the timing and form of reciprocity.
MP Gashi stated that removing the tax could be a matter of days or weeks, and reciprocity measures should then be put in place, gradually until the overall measures are reached.
But coalition partner Abrashi said the tax would only be lifted after the conditions for reciprocity were established.
Meanwhile, the deputy of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Daut Haradinaj, spoke out against abolishing the tax, saying it should be abolished only after Serbia recognizes the reality in Kosovo.
On the other hand, MP Gashi said that the international partners have given assurances that after the lifting of the tax, as a condition for continuing the dialogue with Serbia, the latter will be forced to halt the campaign against the recognition of Kosovo.
On the contrary, according to him, international partners have pledged to deconstruct the "criminal and illegal campaign" that Serbia is conducting.
