In a video message published on social networks, she outlined her three main objectives during her diplomatic mission: deepening US-Albania defense relations, supporting Albania's EU integration process, and supporting economic development by increasing US investment in Albania.
“First, I will work to deepen our defense relationship so that Albania becomes a stronger and capable ally.
Secondly, I continue to promote Albania's democratic development to support your EU membership efforts. Albania's European aspirations and the reforms they seek will bring more prosperity and sustainability to you and the region.
Third, I will work to boost US exports and investments in Albania, so that we can create more jobs and opportunities for Americans and Albanians,” says US Ambassador Yuri Kim.
The US ambassador has called Albania a loyal ally of the United States.
