Doctor Fadil Cani, in a 'live' link from Skopje to Euronews Albania, explained that the patient is in good health and is advised to remain in home isolation after this 2-week period.
He said the patient has been treated with antiviruses and antibacterial agents, as he had complications of pneumonia.
"The patient responded well to the established therapy and she recovered very quickly and after 2 weeks of intensive therapy, the condition improved. After 2 consecutive tests the patient was negative for COVID-19,” the doctor said.
But the biggest surprise in the case of Macedonia is the fact that the patient's relatives, who have stayed constantly with her, and the passengers who traveled with her from Italy, have all been negative for COVID-19.
