came from the Italian National Federation of Nurses with a statement expressing "all the pain and concern of the nurses over the death of their young colleague who lost her life, and of all 450,000 Italian healthcare professionals who are fighting united around their families, friends and colleagues”.

The decision to kill herself was probably the stress of working with the virus sufferers, but colleagues talk about her fears that as it turned out to be positive for the disease, she could have infected other close ones.
This is just the latest case of such an event as a week ago another nurse in Venezia killed herself. "It is an analogous event with the same motivation and although we wish it the opposite, thi may not be the last case," the federation report said.
