Two Albanian laboratory technicians - Besar Lalike and Eldian Cepeli - have pledged, at their own expense, to produce in the laboratory parts of ventilation device that will treat 4 patients in the same time that are in serious condition due to coronavirus. Their colleague, Gjergji Dilo, announced the good news via a Facebook status. Dilo goes on to say that whoever has a printer resin, this is the moment when is needed more than ever.

Besar Lalike and Eldian Cepeli have undertaken, with their own expenses, to produce in the laboratory parts of the ventilation devices. These parts will enable one device to be connected and keep alive not 1 but up to 4 patients. This would provide us with the hope of keeping up to four times the patients who are in serious and need ventilation. This is not my status for you to like or say well done to these guys. This status of mine is an appeal to the help of all dental professionals: who has the printer's resin, this is the moment when is needed more than ever !!! It is not the time to produce beautiful teeth or dentures… it is the time to save lives !!! We are facing an invisible enemy and in everything we do it is a hope for the people to not to lose their life!!! Together we can come up, each of us can make their own contribution no matter how small. Remember that the ocean is made up of tiny dots !!! We are with you prof. Arben Gjata (Rector of the University of Medical Sciences in Tirana), together we can make it!!!
We remind that up to this moment in Albania there are 104 people infecter by coronaviruses and 4 people have died.
