10 babies infected by doctors in Romania

 Data from coronavirus studies show that young people infected with COVID-19 are a small percentage of the total, which today has passed 1 and a half million worldwide. But obviously, the infection cannot be ruled out, and cases like the one that is shaking Romanian public opinion show it best.

Timisoara Hospital, a city of 300,000 near the border with Serbia and Hungary, is under investigation by authorities after 10 babies were infected with COVID-19.

According to authorities, the babies have been infected by the medical staff themselves, in a lack of protocol of protective measures that is worrying the entire member state of the European Union.

The babies have returned home, where they will be quarantined with their families, and are in good condition. A few days ago another hospital was closed in Romania after medical staff became infected with the coronavirus.



Romania has so far formalized about 5,200 cases, with 441 victims, but the trend seems growing.
