18 prisoners infected with COVID-19 in Tirana prison

 There are 4 new cases of coronavirus in prison no. 313 in Tirana. These cases come after 13 others that were found a few days ago in the same prison.

"Regarding other cases identified in the last 24 hours, 6 cases in Kukës, 4 cases in Tirana, related to the hearth in the penitentiary institution, are 2 cases in Kurbin, 1 case in Lushnje, 1 case in Berat and 1 case imported from Greece, identified during the quarantine stay in Përmet, who are currently being treated at the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Tirana”, announced the Public Health Institution of Albania.

In total the number of prisoners with coronavirus in prison no. 313 has gone to 18, causing an alarming situation between them.

The number of people affected by coronavirus in the country has reached 712 where most are in Tirana and Shkodra, while with today's 18 cases Kruja is ranked as the third most affected city by coronavirus.
