Journalist Elidon Ndreka reported for BalkanWeb that the victim's body was spotted by random passers-by who notified the police. The 54-year-old with the initials N.P., was found dead in a water canal on the road axis Lezha-Shengjin, at the end of the Paper Factory.
In the press release, the police said that from the preliminary investigations it is suspected that he was accidentally drowned, as he was drunk and from the preliminary inspection no signs of violence or any other damage were identified.
The investigation team is at the scene and is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the event.
