"I want to return to Albania." These were the words used by an Albanian, who surprised the police while pedaling his bicycle along the A27 highway.

The 33-year-old Albanian living in Marca, who was hospitalized in Ca ‘Foncello on Thursday for serious anxiety related to the long quarantine, surprised the police with the statement made after they stopped him on the highway. He had taken the road to Venice but his "long" journey had ended after being stopped by police. Police then notified an ambulance to pick up the Albanian.

The 33-year-old is in a slightly aggravated psychological state due to the long quarantine, but that was not enough to avoid a fine for him.

He was fined 42 euros by the carabinieri for improper access to the highway and 533.33 euros for quarantine violations.
