Albanian kills his brother and then sets him on fire to steal the money he had brought from Switzerland

 

 The Basic Prosecution in Gjakova, Department for Serious Crimes, announces today that the person G.K. from Bërnjaku of Rahovec has been arrested and then detained on suspicion of killing his brother, B.K. who, after coming from Switzerland to Kosovo, had initially denounced missing from his family since February 14, 2020.

After the investigative actions by the Prosecution and the Police, it is suspected that the person G.K. killed him and then burned the body of the late B.K., where several human bones were found at the scene.

Also, after an operative work, was found the weapon with which the criminal offense is suspected to have been committed, as well as a cartridge which, after forensic examination, was confirmed to have been fired from the suspect's weapon.

During the interview with the police, where the case prosecutor was also present, the suspect G.K. has accepted the offense he is suspected of, describing in detail how he acted on that critical day.

By order of the prosecutor of the case, the suspect was detained for a period of 48 hours, with the suspicion of criminal offenses of aggravated murder and unauthorized possession, control or possession of weapons and against him will be requested detention, within the legal deadline by the competent court in Gjakova.
