Prime Minister Edi Rama has invited the opposition and the leader of the Democrats, Lulzim Basha, to an online meeting, to unite all forces and experts in the fight of Coronavirus.
During a live Facebook communication, Rama addressed Basha for cooperation, saying, "Let's speak to the people in one voice to protect every Albanian life, from Shkodra...to Vlora...let's get together and come out safe of this meeting."

We have not spared or saved anything to make it easier for them to breathe economically. Ask yourself who would be the prime minister who would not want to give everything to his people in order to not feel great stress. There is no such thing. We have set up a large team of experts from a medical point of view, we have set up another network to do our best in dealing with the affected people and the Albanian economy!
We will do our best so that no one lacks vital assistance, but let us all understand that we cannot immediately spend all our ammunition and we do not know how long it will last, we will emerge from this war damaged but not destroyed. The opposition has lost the opportunity to come to our aid to guarantee the health of the people and to unite the economic resistance, I have asked this to Basha, to join forces with me and the experts to win... and resist economically. You have all heard the answer, accusations about our heroic work and recipes with illusions.
I am not crying and I do not want to blame anyone, I am sorry that instead of the union that the power to be protected is the life of every human being, the weapons of war have not been lowered, neither in the name of the people nor in the name of the homeland.
It's never too late, my call is to join forces and confront with the social distance, eye to eye in online meetings, let's talk to the people in one voice to protect every Albanian life ... Let's get out of this meeting together.
