The chairman of the parliamentary group of the socialist party Taulant Balla has today publicly denounced a lobbying agreement of the Democratic Party of Albania signed last month with an American firm.
"The US Department of Justice, through the Foreign Agents Registration Act, registered on March 20, 2020, a new lobbying contract in the US, of the Democratic Party with a company that among its clients has the Maduro regime in Venezuela.

"Oh God, how is it possible, when all Albanians have come together in this War with Covid-19, where the need for social solidarity and support for people in need is so necessary by all, the one who takes the courage to give us advice and proposes plans, pays such large sums of money in the American media to darken Albania, or in the offices of the American Congress.

But how can you go live on TV for days, and point the finger that families in need are not being helped, that the hospitals are not being funded, nurses, police officers are not being paid, businesses are not being given financial assistance in a time when you spend the in vain the money your party gets from the state budget.
