Citizen in Shkodra arrested after driving with forged police documents in isolation time

 

 A citizen in Shkodra used a forged police document to drive his car during the isolation hours and was detained as part of the restrictive measures the Government for not spreading the COVID-19.

The passenger who was with him is also punished with a fine of 10,000 lek, for violating the rule of the movement for pedestrians after 13:00, without any emergency reason.

His arrest was made at a place called Shtoj i Ri, Shkodra, while driving his vehicle, he was stopped by the Police services for checking the authorization for movement. This citizen presented to the Police employees a document and badge of Europolice.

Preliminary verifications with Europol show that these documents are forged.

He was also punished with the administrative measure for non-implementation of Normative Act no. 3, dated 15.03.2020 "On measures against COVID-19", after violating the rule of self-quarantine, and even the passenger traveling with him has been fined.

The materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office of the Shkodra Judicial District, for the criminal offenses "Falsification of documents" and "Misappropriation of title or state duty."
