“We inform you that this morning a 78-year-old patient from Durres confirmed with COVID-19 passed away. The 78-year-old was in a serious condition, intubated for 3 days and, despite the efforts of medical staff, unfortunately, failed to survive," said Rovena Daja of the Institute of Public Health.
It is also learned that there are currently 81people infected in the Infectious Service in Tirana, 8 of them are in intensive care while 4 of them are intubated. The rest of the pavilions are in stable condition until this moment.
