Albanian coffee distributor caught with 4.5 kg cocaine in Italy

The 42-year-old Albanian, Erando Mara, is arrested in flagrante delicto by the Italian authorities of Florence, on the charge of cocaine trafficking.

With the profession of coffee and other beverages distributor, he benefited from the permission of his movement for work, to transport and supply drugs to different areas of Italy.

The news is announced by the Italian media. La Nazione writes that during the detention by the police authorities, the 42-year-old appeared very nervous, which led to the suspicions of the law enforcement forces for detailed control of his vehicle Toyota Corolla type.

With the help of anti-drug dogs under the driver's seat was found 3.5 kg of cocaine packaged in 3 packages and another 1 kg was found hidden in a modified car seat.

The Albanian has been handcuffed on charges of trafficking of 4.5 kg of cocaine. Police also said that have seized 37,000 euros in cash and 1,300 euros in his apartment in Faenza, which he had with him at the time of the arrest.

Italian police authorities inform that the 42-year-old Albanian Erando Mara was stopped by the traffic police on Easter day to verify the motive of his movement, but without checking his vehicle.
