French Embassy to Tirana donates 3,000 masks to Albanian Police and once so are on the way


The French embassy has donated 3,000 masks to the State Police.

French Embassy Liaison Officer Thomas Erhardy said this was only the first amount as another 3,000 masks is expected to come.

He also said that the French embassy is ready if the police want to give them a third amount.

The French embassy donates 3,000 masks to police officers

French Embassy Liaison Officer Thomas Erhardy handed over the masks to the General Directorate of State Police, in the presence of Logistics Director Theodhori Gravani.

Mr. Erhardy said: “I am very pleased to have the opportunity to donate you with these 3,000 protective masks, which have been produced by MARLOTEX, a company based in Berat that specializes in textile production. The donation of these 3000 masks is the first donation and of course there will be another 3000 masks. If you wish we can of course ask for another set amount, for a third donation. The donation of these masks is a symbolism on our part to thank the work of the Albanian Police in these difficult moments."

The Director of the Department for Support Services at the DLP, Theodhori Gravani, said: “Thank you very much to the Liaison Officer of the French Embassy. Following the cooperation we have with the Embassy and the Liaison Officer of the Embassy, ​​the donation in these difficult moments, in addition to the symbolism, is also very important, as the police forces need these masks and protective measures in the field. In this case, we express our solidarity with the French people and we hope to overcome this situation as soon as possible."
