Hungary donates 100,000 masks to Albania, Çakaj meets his counterpart in Tirana

 Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó paid an official visit to Tirana today, where he met with his Albanian counterpart Gent Cakaj.

The Hungarian minister also provided valuable assistance to the country's medical staff in preventing coronavirus. It is about 100,000 masks and 5,000 medical protective suits, which will be distributed to health institutions in the country.

The ministers discussed further Albania's European journey, "delayed by the EU", according to Minister Szijjártó, and Hungary's support for the country's reconstruction after the November 26 earthquake, as well as concrete cooperation in the fight against pandemics.
