Scandal in a rest home in Italy, elderly people have been beat systematically, 6 arrested



 A gruesome event has been spotted by Italian police during an operation that led to the arrest of Maria Cristina Catalano, administrator of a nursing home and several subordinates for violence against the elderly in a rest home.

The elderly in a nursing home in Palermo, Italy, were systematically beaten and threatened.

Palermo police announced today that they have discovered this scandal and have arrested six women who were working in asylum and were paid to serve the elderly.

The discovery came after police launched an investigation based on operational data and placed visual interceptors on the home premises.

"Don't play from the seat. If you move, I will break your legs. This is how you will sew it." It is heard in one of the film sequences from the eavesdropping cameras that were placed in the asylum.

"You have to die, die," said another woman who addressed the elderly.

The detainees are accused of mistreatment in collaboration and repeated attacks on vulnerable elderly people.
