The strong wind has caused great economic damage to the farmer Gëzim Islami from the village of Grezhdan in Maqellara, Dibër.

As a result of the strong wind, the stockyard collapsed, where about 300 small cattle, sheep, were trapped inside, and dozens of them have been killed, he tells to Ballkanweb.

So far, Gëzimi says that about 50 sheep and lambs have been killed, while the number could be even higher as the entire stockyard space has not been freed from the ruins.

His fellow villagers went to help Islami by removing the inerts of the collapsed stable and transporting the livestock.

He says the local authorities went to the scene and hopes he will receive help by the Government.
