A young man was killed with a firearm in Vlora during the late hours of last night.
It is learned that the event took place in the place known as Uji i Ftohtë (Eng: Cold Water), near the area known as 7 Pallatet (Eng: 7 Palaces), in still unclear circumstances where the 25-year-old Kristian Breshanaj was killed on the street with a firearm type Kalashnikov. Breshanaj is the son of the chief of the reanimation department at Vlora Hospital.
Numerous police forces went immediately to the scene, checkpoints were set up in the area to catch the perpetrators.
According to the police, during the 'combing' of the area, in one of the alleys of the “10 Korriku” neighborhood of Vlora, the Police services found a vehicle in flames, inside which is found an automatic Kalashnikov firearm, which is suspected to be the weapon of the crime.
Vlora police have started escorting people who may be aware of the circumstances of the crime.
The investigative group under the direction of the Prosecution continues the work for the collection of any valid evidence in order to clarify the circumstances of the event, identify and apprehend the perpetrator / s.
