As a result of the earthquake that hit on November 26, 2019, in Durrës, the Albanian authorities are continuing the demolition of damaged buildings by the earthquake, as well as the construction of new buildings.
The National Inspectorate of Territorial Defense (IKMT) destroyed today a 6-story building with a controlled explosion.
IKMT has successfully demolished today with a controlled explosion, a building object, six floors, in the neighborhood 7 in Durrës.
The facility, after in-depth expertise, was severely damaged by the November 26 earthquake and posed a danger to citizens.
To demolish this facility, IKMT opened up 350 'furnaces' and used 8.5 kilograms of c4 explosives.
