Although experts have warned that the new coronavirus is "saving" young people in Kosovo, those infected between the ages of 0 and 9 make up almost 10 percent of the total 945.
According to the Ministry of Health, so far 87 cases have been recorded in children from 0 to 9 years old, while one less, 86 in the age group from 10 to 19 years old.
"Fortunately, there are no dead in these age groups," reads a response from the Ministry of Health according to Kosovo media.
Since March 13, when the first case of coronavirus appeared in Kosovo, 945 cases have been reported so far. 29 patients died as a result of COVID-19, while 690 were cured.
According to Johns Hopkins University, 4,500,476 people have been infected Worldwide, 1,618,806 have been cured and 304,843 have died.
