16 cases of COVID-19 are being treated at the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Tirana, four of which are in intensive care.
The total number of cases confirmed by COVID-19 has reached over a thousand.
In the last 24 hours, six new cases of infection with the new coronavirus have been confirmed. Four cases are in Tirana and two in Shkodra.
Eugena Tomini, from the Institute of Public Health, said six patients had recovered during the period.
So far in Albania, 79% of those infected have recovered, while 32 patients have died.
