Tirana Police has finalized the police operation "Kombinacioni".
The theft of a large amount of money in the vehicle of the citizen F. B. is revealed in record time.
The 2 suspected perpetrators are identified, localized, and handcuffed.
17.5 million new lek and 50 thousand Swiss francs have been seized as material evidence.
Crime Investigation Structures of the Police Commissariat no. 2, after the denunciation received from the citizen F.B., that on May 22, 2020, at around 19:00 pm, near the place known as Qendra Kristal (Eng: Crystal Center), in the area of the Paris Commune in Tirana, some unidentified persons had stolen a considerable amount of money - 20 million leks (new) and 50 thousand Swiss francs - in his vehicle type "Range Rover". While the police organized the work for the detection, localization and capture of the perpetrators.

Following the intensive work and investigative actions, the location of the perpetrators was localized and within the police operation codenamed "Kombinacioni", they were arrested in flagrante delicto in the city of Fier, specifically:
D. H., 27 years old, resident of Tirana, previously convicted for the criminal offense "Production and sale of narcotics";
G. K. 44 years old, resident in Tirana; previously convicted of the crime of "Theft"
From the investigative actions it resulted that these two citizens had followed the movements of the citizen F. B. and at the moment that this citizen entered the shopping center, they stole the amount of money in the trunk of the vehicle.
At the time of the arrest, these citizens were found and seized as material evidence an amount of money of 17.5 million new lek and 50 thousand francs.
The materials are forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office of the Tirana Judicial District, for further action, for the criminal offense "Theft".
