Euronews Albania managed to reveal a part of the annual report of the Albanian Intelligence Service (known locally as SHISH), where it raises the alarm of the strengthening of criminal structures, now also abroad.
The report notes that the monetary values and wealth gained from criminal activity over the years favored by corruption in the justice system, impunity or its low level, are being used by these groups to expand drug trafficking activity abroad, mainly in the direction of hard drugs.
The Albanian intelligentsia emphasizes that individuals who have escaped justice have settled in foreign countries and from there serve as traffic bridges with criminal elements within the country where, in addition to European countries, they are also active in countries of cocaine and heroin origin, where they cooperate with local criminal elements.
