Albanian gangs operating in the field of narcotics trafficking have their base in cannabis cultivation. But how do they switch from cannabis narcotics to hard drugs like heroin or cocaine?

SHISH points out that there are cases of cannabis exchange with hard drugs, such as heroin and cocaine.

Alarming remains the fact that the Albanian intelligence agency admits also that criminal gangs among them employ professional assassins to kill their rivals, where even for 2019, such assassinations have been a lot.

The State Intelligence Service analyzes another aspect of the crime of criminal gangs, that of economic crimes. According to intelligence, the money of criminal gangs is laundered in some business areas such as construction, real estate, hotel-tourism, and coastal and urban areas remain the most attractive, as they offer the potential for multiple returning back of the initial investment.
