In the framework of the implementation of the Special Law on Property Measures for Individuals Convicted or Accused of Organized Crime or Serious Crimes, OFL has initiated written requests for self-declaration of sources of wealth to these citizens:
-Endrit Zela, resident in Tirana, convicted of the criminal offense "Coercion by threatening to get property" committed in collaboration;
-Genc Ferhati, resident in Tirana, convicted of the criminal offense "Coercion by threatening to get property";
Igli Memaj, resident of Vlora, for whom the Court of the Vlora has imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Murder in qualifying circumstances";
Nelson Hysa, resident of Shkodra, for whom the former Court of First Instance for Serious Crimes has imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offenses "Coercion by threatening to get property", committed in collaboration, within the structured criminal group and “Committing criminal offenses by a criminal organization or structured criminal group”;
These individuals, as subjects of the Special Law, must answer in writing, within 48 hours, all the questions of the OFL and then, the answers received will be sent to the SPAK, for further action.
OFL is in uninterrupted action and in carrying out complex actions to impose emergency seizures on suspected assets obtained from crime, as well as to send self-declaration forms to all persons subject to the Special Law.
OFL will inform continuously the public of all procedural initiatives and executive operations it will carry out.
