Police Officer asking sexual favors to women to cross illegally to Greece expelled

 The Albanian State Police has reacted harshly after the scandal in Kakavija where a border police officer asked sexual favors to women in order to cross them illegally to Greece, broadcasted firstly in an investigative show, and then became viral through social media.

According to a statement, the police officer has been immediately expelled from the ranks of the police.

State police declaration:

Taking into account the broadcast in an investigative show, of the serious violation committed by the police officer P. Ç., Service body in the Local Directorate for Border and Migration Gjirokastra, the Directorate of Professional Standards in the State Police made the immediate exclusion of this police officer from the ranks of the State Police.

The State Police thanks the media and the citizens and encourages the people to denounce any abuse of office by the police officers, guaranteeing them an immediate and impartial response.
