Komron Zukurov's wish came true, he did not surrender to his homeland in Tajikistan, where he claims his life is in danger.
But he was extradited to Germany, where an international arrest warrant has been in force for five months by the Karlsruhe court, which asked Albania to extradite him, on suspicion of membership in a terrorist organization.

The 24-year-old had entered Albanian territory in February 2020 as a tourist who wanted to meet his aunt, but two months later Interpol declared him wanted, based on the preliminary investigation and the decision of the federal court. Komron Zukurov since the Albanian counterterrorism investigation revealed later that he had two other identities, viewed suspiciously by the Germans along with four other foreign nationals who were identified earlier this year. The 24-year-old is thought to have formed an extremist cell in Germany that aimed and planned to carry out attacks on behalf of ISIS targeting non-believers.
These attacks are believed to have been carried out in Germany and other countries, where his homeland, Tajikistan, was not excluded. But the young man from Tajikistan was initially suspected of having come to Albania to commit a murder, although this version was not proven by local authorities..
